UFR Changes in Massachusetts

Non-profit organizations that contract with the State need to be aware of changes to the implementation of Chapter 257 due to the effect on the number of programs reported on an entity’s Uniform Financial Report (UFR).

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts enacted Chapter 257 of the Acts of 2008 to provide authority over the rate setting process with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) for human and social service agencies other than special education programs that contract with the Commonwealth and do not have established payment rates.
