Whittlesey & Hadley Helps Out American School for the Deaf

HARTFORD, Connecticut – June 22, 2010 – Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C., one of the area's largest independent accounting firms, has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with West Hartford’s renowned American School for the Deaf (ASD). On June 18, 2010, 50 Whittlesey & Hadley employees volunteered at the ASD's Camp Isola Bella in beautiful Taconic, Connecticut. Teams from the accounting firm assisted the ASD camp staff with landscaping, general clean up of the grounds, preparation of boats, and cabin exterior maintenance.

According to the Firm’s managing partner, Drew Andrews, “Volunteering is a tradition that expanded into a Firm-wide, annual community service day in 2009. This event allows everyone to give back to the community by lending a hand at area nonprofit organizations.” Whittlesey & Hadley partners led teams from all departments as well as the Firm's subsidiary company, The Technology Group, LLC, in assisting ASD staff at the camp.

Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C. is a leading, regional provider of accounting, financial and business consulting services. Headquartered in Hartford, CT, the Firm was founded in 1961, and maintains a primary focus of serving the region's nonprofit community.
