Whittlesey & Hadley Serves on Audit Quality Center

HARTFORD – Whittlesey & Hadley, P.C., a leading accounting and consulting firm, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center for CPA firms.

Whittlesey & Hadley has provided pension plan audit service for more than 25 years and currently audits more than 50 employee benefit plans with plan size ranging from 100 to more than 3,000 participants. Members of the professional staff are trained to audit all types of defined contribution, defined benefit, and health and welfare plans.

Organized in 2004, the Audit Quality Center is comprised of accounting firms nationwide that demonstrate a commitment to employee benefit plan audit quality and raise awareness about the importance of employee benefit plan audits. The Center provides members with best practices, guidelines, and tools needed to perform quality benefit plan audits.

Members of the Audit Quality Center demonstrate their commitment by agreeing to adhere to Center membership requirements, including designating a partner responsible for its employee benefit plan audit practice and establishing an internal training and quality control program. Robert McCall, CPA, is the designated partner at Whittlesey & Hadley; he also serves as the Firm’s quality control officer.
