W&H offers college students an opportunity to gain practical experience in the accounting industry. Our interns work side-by-side with our professional staff, assisting with actual client work. We offer two types of internships: winter and summer.

Winter interns

Winter interns, usually in their junior year, complete a 12 week program during the spring semester. Opportunities may be primarily in either in tax or audit, but what makes our program unique is that you will be exposed to both areas. Our interns assist with client work and gain valuable experience because of it. Interns work under a senior or supervisor on current projects, may have the opportunity to participate in client site visits and/or meetings and play important roles on project teams. At W&H our interns really get to see what public accounting is all about.

Summer interns

Summer interns work primarily in audit during the summer months. Interns will help to prepare for our non-profit season, which begins in August. Interns work under a senior or supervisor on current projects, may have the opportunity to participate in client site visits and/or meetings and play important roles on project teams.
