Susan Sheppard has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, having joined the Firm in 1981. She was named partner in 1993 and specializes in all areas of business and tax planning with a focus on physician groups and other health care professionals. Susan often works with compensation arrangements, business projections, valuations, employee issues and relations, and practice mergers.

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rowen College in New Jersey and has had graduate studies in taxation at the University of Hartford.

A member of the Connecticut Medical Managers Association, Susan also serves on the PKF North America Healthcare Services Committee, where she was chair from 2007 to 2008. She is also treasurer of the Epilepsy Foundation of Connecticut. Susan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
